Early Education
Ages B-5
A Strong Start for Lifelong Learning
The early years of a child’s life are a time of remarkable growth, curiosity, and discovery. At Ascend Academy, our Birth–5 Early Education program is intentionally designed to nurture young learners during this critical stage of development. Through nurturing relationships, engaging learning environments, and developmentally appropriate practices, we help children build the foundations they need to thrive in school and in life.
Our program focuses on the whole child: supporting cognitive development, language growth, social–emotional skills, creativity, and physical development in a safe and joyful environment.
Our Approach to Early LearningChildren learn best when they are actively engaged, supported by caring educators, and encouraged to explore their world. Our classrooms blend play-based exploration with structured learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence, and confidence.
Our early education approach includes:
Developmentally appropriate, play-based learning
Language-rich environments that support early literacy
Hands-on exploration in math, science, and discovery
Social–emotional learning and relationship building
Creative arts, music, and movement
Outdoor play and nature-based learning
Each day provides opportunities for children to explore, question, create, and collaborate.
